I absolutely loved the charming atmosphere of the medieval tower and the cozy breakfast experience. 😊 The location was perfect, just a short stroll to all the attractions! Only downside was the cramped bathroom situation.

A fair review – pros and cons
The location was perfect, allowing easy exploration of historic spots, with a friendly owner who goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and help with local recommendations.
Communication was a challenge. at times, the room design's sound insulation was poor, making privacy an issue while hearing other guests clearly.

characterful building, charming attic room, excellent proximity to attractions
Limited English proficiency from the owner made communication tricky!!! The bathroom's low ceiling and cramped shower were uncomfortable for taller guests!!!

Had a great time with friends! The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like the Square of Giglio and the Square of the Amphitheater. Enjoyed high-level service in a family-friendly environment. The breakfast was amazing and gave us the energy to roam around!
The only downside was the limited English proficiency of some staff, which occasionally made communication a bit tricky.

The Junior Suite was super comfy! The bed and pillows felt amazing, and I liked how the room had these cool antiques that added character. The location was perfect for exploring everywhere in Lucca. Definitely felt like the real Italian experience! But I did notice it could get a bit noisy at times, especially with other guests in the hallway.

would stay here again and again
The attic room was super charming. It had air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom had a shower and all the toiletries I needed. The location was perfect for exploring. Claudio, the owner, was really helpful and gave great dining tips. A cozy place overall!

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of historic sights, making it easy to explore. The medieval tower adds a unique charm, and the fresh French patisseries at breakfast were delightful. However, the room was quite small, which was a bit of a letdown, and the sound insulation felt poor, with conversations from other guests easily audible. It was frustrating that the host's instructions on navigating out of the city walls were unclear, leading to unnecessary confusion during our stay.

Just an ideal choice for a weekend respite in Lucca with real value for money. The location is great, allowing easy access to attractions nearby. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper since it's a bit noisy at night.
